Challenge in the Moxie Fab World

Hello Everyone,

This card was made for the Stamp It Card Week Challenge in the Moxie Fab World. We are challenged to  create a card in which stamping is the predominant element. So this is what I made for this challenge.

I used my Heartfelt Creations stamp set , which I just love.  This was the fastest card I've EVER made, it to only 15 minutes. The hardest part, was placing the pearls.

Well, that's it for me today. Head on over to Moxie Fab, this week, there will be challenges and prizes to be won.

Have a fabulous day, and will blog with you later.

I Can Do All Things

Hello My Fellow Crafters,
I'm still trying to re-organized after my vacay. I have unpacking. There's so much laundry to be done, not just from my vacation, but my hubby's laundry as well. There's also a lot of cleaning that I need to finish. I've been breaking everything done to small task, so I won't feel so overwhelmed.  I'm also watching the Casey Anthony's trial online. I was watching it with my MIL, now I'm totally hocked. I know, that is so sad. I can't help it, I'm addicted to this case.

Well yesterday, I started a scrapbook page that I have finally finished. I was trying out some new things, and a took my a lot longer to finish it.  Most of my pages are, to bland, I wanted to spice thing up a bit. I know this still isn't as spicy as I can go, but I'm taking baby steps. There are no designer papers, or patterns on this page.  I did use a lot of stamps, I even made the flower in the lower right hand corner, actually I made 5 of them. I didn't all them all, because the paper was beginning to look a little too busy. All in all, I do like the way this page turned out.

Well that's all for now, I have to get back to the trial, and do some more cleaning. Have a fabulous day.

Blog with you later,
Regina

MoJo Monday - A Masculine "Thinking of You" Card

Hello Fellow Bloggers,

Well I'm back from my vacation. My son and I have a great visit with my MIL. She really enjoyed having us there, and we enjoyed the visit. But I must admit, I missed my hubby, my blog, and my Internet. Being without the Internet for 2 weeks was a little of a culture shock. I hadn't realized how addicted I am the net until I had to go without it. But I survived. I love going on vacation, but there's no place like home.

Well time to get back to crafting. Today I created a card using the  MoJo Monday Sketch 196.

I've really been struggling to make masculine cards, so today, I used this weeks MoJo Monday sketch to make a masculine card. I actually like the way it turned out.  I used my hubby's favorite color, trimmed with black, and threw in a splash of red.

Well, that's it for now. I have a lot of unpacking, washing, and cleaning to do.

Have a wonderful day,
Regina

MoJo Monday and a Father's Day Card

Hi Everyone,
Today I needed to create a card for my daddy (I'm a daddy's girl, big time) for Father's Day.  I have the hardest time trying to make masculine cards. All of my papers and embellies are floral and girlie. I was really happy that I remember that I had bought this paper, some years back, just for this purpose.  I used the Mojo Monday 193 sketch for this card as well. I love sketches, they come in handy when my mojo is MIA.  You can see the sketch on my previous post.

This card is 6 x 6, I like making large cards for my daddy. I paper piece the laptop, and colored with Copic markers. The frames on the wall were also paper pieced and I cut out some pics of me and my son to add to them. I think daddy will like that.

I'm sure you're thinking that I'm getting a head start on my Father's Day cards. Well, that's really not the case. My son and I will be spending two weeks in Daytona Beach Florida with my MIL, and returning Father's Day weekend. I will be away from all of my toys. No stamping, card making or scrapbooking for two weeks, that will be hard (what will I do? what will I do?). But I will try to ease the pain by spending some time in the sun and on the beach. I feel the pain lessening as I think about it, lol. Well that's all I have for today.

Hugs,
Regina
