JustRite Friday Challenge #090 - Sketch

Hello Everyone,

My 10th wedding anniversary is in a couple of weeks, and I've been struggling with making some cards for my wonderful husband. I try to make sure that each card is unique, this time I'm really struggling to find my mojo. I'm so glad this JustRite Friday Challenge #090 is a sketch challenge.  Well, here's the card I made.

I wanted to make this a shaped card with multiple pages, so I decide to use my much neglected grand dies. I stamped the focal image onto patterned paper, die cut the image, and double matted the stamp using the same die. I died some seam binding with a distress reinker.

I was originally going to use the same grand label for the inside pages, but I dropped my Grand Caliber a few months ago (and it still worked), but yesterday it decide to stop working. So instead using the grand dies, I used a blank card base to make the inside.

On the 1st page of the card, I mounted one of our engagement photos to the front panel. We really were young. On the 2nd page of the card, I stamp and mounted a sentiment and label. The inside uses the card sketch.

The 3rd page has another sentiment and label, and the 4th page will be used to add my personal message to my hubby. I used 5 different stamps sets to make this card. I hope he likes it.

Have a Blessed day, and I'll blog with you later.

Hugs,
Regina

Valentine's Day Card

Hello,

Today I made a clean and simple Valentine's Day card for my hubby. There's no ribbons, flowers, pins, pattern papers or Spellbinders dies on this card (I can't believe I did it). All it has is two stamps and plain cardstock.

The background and the focal were stamped onto white cardstock, mounted onto black cardstock, mounted onto red cardstock, and adhered onto a card base. Clean and simple.

Well that's it for me. Have a Blessed day, and I'll blog with you later.

Hugs,
Regina

Valentine's Day Treat Boxes

Hello,

Today I finally finished the Valentine's Day treat boxes for my son's teachers.

I used non-traditional Valentines Day colors, I wanted the boxes to be a little whimsical.

I made the flowers, hearts, foliage and corners using a Spellbinders dies. The pins were made using some of my stash.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a Blessed Day, and I'll blog with you later.

Hugs,
Regina
