JustRite Friday Challenge #106 - Color Inspiration

Hello Everyone,

It's time for another color challenge JustRite Friday Challenge #106 - Color Inspiration. All we needed to do is use the inspiration photo and/or colors to create your project or card.

I'm trying to get ahead of my Halloween projects for my son's class, so I used the inspiration colors to make some Halloween pillow boxes.

I use a template that I found here to make the boxes. I printed the template onto white cardstock, cut out the template, randomly stamped the spider and sentiment, sponges with distress inks, and glued the boxes together.

The focal images were stamped onto white cardstock, die cut with circle die, sponge with distress ink, and mounted onto scalloped circle die cut.

View of the back of one box, to view the stamping.
I've made 6 boxes. so far, I need 22 plus one for the teacher. This will be a work in progress. My plans are to make 6 per week until their all done.

Thanks for stopping by
Have a Blessed Day
Hugs,
Regina

WOYWW #225

Hello My Fellow Crafters,

It's time for What's On Your Work desk? Wednesday.  If you would like to see what all this craziness is about, head on over to Julia's blog, Stamping Ground.

Well, there's been a little crafting happening today. I finished a card for the October's design team projects.

Not too messy today.

There are some additions to my desk, the two ink towers. They hold 48 inks pads each, and they fit most of my pads. My Colorbox chalk ink pads are too thick, so I'll have to figure out a different storage solution for them.

Last week I showed this storage unit (a cheap Wal-Mart TV stand). At the time, the stand held my Grand Calibur and my Cricut machines/cartridges. Julia asked if I used my Cricut often, and I don't. So, I moved my Cricut machines and cartridges to the book self and moved all my Spellbinders supplies to this unit.  Now I have everything I use, often, next to me. As you can see, I still have a few die sets that need to be organized, I'm waiting for my order of DVD cases and magnets to arrive.

Have a Blessed Day

Heartfelt Creations Pennant Basket

Hello Everyone,

Here's a little treat/potpourri holder I created using the Heartfelt Creations Season of Joy Collection. This project was inspired by one I saw on Darsie Bruno's blog here.

Instructions:  Treat Holder size 8x4x4
Began by die cutting and embossing (4) of the largest lacey pennants from white cardstock, score pennants on the 2 longest sides at the emboss lines, and fold on score lines.  Die cut and emboss (4) nested pennants from Frosty Blanket Collection paper, trim all sides at the emboss line, sponge edges with distress ink, stamp Elegant Joy image on bottom point using silver ink and adhere to lacey pennants. Die cut (4) Banners from white cardstock and adhere to lacey pennants.  Add glue to scallops and fold lines of lacey pennants, adhere all 4 pennants together, let dry, added glue and glitter to scallop edges.  Tape classic scallop and insert die together, cut a border from Frosty Blanket Collection paper & white cardstock, remove die, cut other side of border, adhere borders together, and adhere to pennants.  Stamp Christmas Poinsettia onto white cardstock using black ink, die cut using Sun Kissed Fleur die, sponge with distress ink (chipped sapphire and faded jeans), adhere (3) flowers together alternating the petals, add glitter to the tips, add silver stickers to center, and hot glue poinsettias to basket.  Stamps Christmas Sentiment Circles onto white shrink plastic using black ink, die cut image with Classic Scalloped Circles, punch hole before shrinking, heat with heat gun, string beads, attached charm to beads, and attached beads to basket.

WOYWW #224

Hi Everyone,

It's time for What On Your Work desk? Wednesday. It's that wonderful day of the week when we are able to snoop on other crafters, from all around the world. If you would like to join in, head on over to Julie's blog (Stamping Ground). Well, here's my desk. It's a little messy, just the way you like it.

As you can see there was some crafting going on. I have Spellbinders dies (as usual), my label maker (I was labeling some stamps and dies), and Scor-Tape.

More Spellbinders and Heartfelt Creations dies, a card I made for a challenge, and more dies and stamps.

Here's my Grand Calibur and Cricut stand. I use the Grand Calibur, a lot, so this stand is usually near by. I know that I've done a lot of teasing on the past few posting, you can see some of the projects I made on the Heartfelt Creations blog and later postings, after midnight Wednesday ET, on my blog.

Thanks for stopping by.
Have a Blessed Day
Hugs,
Regina
