Here's my Heartfelt Creations design team posting for the week.

Card size is 5 x 7. Start with a blank card base, cut a 5 x 7 card front from Arianna Blooms Collection paper, trim card front to 4 7/8 x 6 7/8, ink edges of card front with distress ink, and glue card front to card base. Cut a 4 x 5 7/8 piece of white cardstock, and glue to center of card. Cut a 3 7/8 x 5 ¾ piece of Arianna Blooms Collection paper, ink edges with distress ink, and glue to center of card. Die cut (8) Arianna Bloom lace accents from black cardstock, and glue die cuts to card. Die cut black cardstock using Labels 41 Decorative Element #4 die, and glue die cut to card. Stamp Arianna Hummingbird sentiment onto white cardstock using black ink, die cut sentiment using Labels Forty-One #4 die, sponge die cut with distress ink, and glue die cut to center of card.

Hello Everyone,

Here's my Heartfelt Creations design team posting for this week.

 

Card size is 5 x 7. Start with a blank card base, cut a 5 x 7 piece of green cardstock, glue cardstock to card base, cut a 4 7/8 x 6 7/8 piece of pink cardstock, and glue pink cardstock to card base. Cut a 5 x 7 card front from Romantique Garden Collection paper, trim card front to 4 ¾ x 6 ¾, ink edges of card front with Forest Moss distress ink, and glue card front to card. Die cut (2) Lacy Corner Flourish from pink cardstock, and glue flourishes to card. Cut a 4 x 6 piece of green cardstock, and glue cardstock to center of card. Cut a 3 7/8 x 5 7/8 piece of white cardstock, stamp Home is Where the Heart is image onto cardstock using black ink, color image using Spectrum Noir and Copic markers, sponge edges of using Antique Linen and Scattered Straw distress ink, and glue image to enter of card. Add Wink of Stella Brush clear ink to image, and add bubbles to card.

I've finally finished all my Christmas cards and gift tags, now I'm working on a Christmas card for my hubby. You can see most of the products I used. I'm using some Our Daily Bread stamps and die and some Sweet n Sassy stamps to make his card.

Card size is 5 x 7. Start with a blank card base, die cut rose cardstock using 5 x7 Matting Basic A #7 die, and glue die cut to card. Die cut Romantique Garden Collection paper using 5 x 7 Matting Basic B #7 die, embossing using Framed Petite Labels embossing folder, sponge edges with Aged Mahogany distress ink, and glue paper to card. Cut a 4 1/8 x 4 1/8 piece of rose cardstock, and glue to card.  Stamp Romantique Garden image onto white cardstock using black ink, color image using Spectrum Noir and Copic markers, die cut image using Pierced Squares #5 & #6 dies, sponge with Antique Linen and Squeezed Lemonade distress inks, and glue to card. Adhere trim to card.

Cut a  4 x 5 ¼ piece of white cardstock, stamp Love Bird Hangout image onto cardstock using black ink, color images with Spectrum Noir and Copic markers, sponge edges Bundled Sage distress ink, and glue to center of pink cardstock. Cut a sentiment border from Romantique Garden Collection paper, ink edges with Peeled Paint distress ink, and glue to white cardstock. Stamp Heartthrob flowers onto white cardstock, die cut flower using Romantique Garden die, color flowers with Spectrum Noir markers, and glue flowers to Love Bird Hangout stamped images. Add Prills and trims to card.

Card size is 5 x 7. Start with a blank card base, cut a 5 x 7 piece of white cardstock, and glue to card base. Cut a 5 x 7 card front from Romantique Garden Collection paper, trim card front to 4 7/8 x 6 7/8, lightly distress edges, and glue to card. Stamp Heartthrob image onto vellum using black ink, dust image with black embossing power, heat set embossing powder, color image on opposite side of heat embossing with Spectrum Noir and Copic markers, die cut image and white cardstock using Grand Labels Four #2 die, glue die cuts together, and glue die cuts to card. Die cut white cardstock and chipboard using Grand Labels Four #1 and #2 dies (tape dies together), glue die cuts together, and glue die cuts on top of Heartthrob image. Color Labels Four die cut with Wink of Stella clear and white brush pens. Add jewel stickers to card.

Here's this week's Heartfelt Creations design team posting. I had so much fun using the Classic Sunflower Collection, I decided it was time to use it again. 

Card size is 4 ¼ x 5 ½. Start with a 4 ¼ x 11 piece of brown cardstock, score at 5 ½, and fold. Cut a card front from Classic Sunflower Collection paper, ink edges of cardstock with Vintage Photo distress ink, and glue card front to card. Add trim around edges of card. Stamp Classic Sunflower image onto white cardstock using black ink, die cut flowers using Classic Sunflower die, color with Spectrum Noir markers and Copper/Gold stamp paints, shape flowers, hot glue sunflowers together, glue beads to center of flower, and hot glue sunflower to card. Color ladybugs using Spectrum Noir markers, and hot glue ladybugs to card.

Cut a 5 1/16 x 3/16 piece of copper cardstock, cut a 5 5/16 x 1/2 strip from All Geared Up Collection paper, sponge edges using Vintage Photo distress ink, glue to copper strip, and glue strips to card. Die cut gold cardstock using All Geared Up gear die, cut die cut in half, and glue die cut pieces to card. Die cut brown and copper cardstock using Classic Scalloped Ovals #5 die, cut brown die cut in half, glue brown pieces to the back of gold die cut, and glue die cuts to card. Stamp Shifting Gears rust spot onto white cardstock using Peanut Brittle ink, stamp Shifting Gears sentiment, on top of rust spot, using Rich Cocoa ink, die cut using Classic Ovals #5 die, and glue to copper die cut. Hot glue bow to card.

I finally started working on Christmas cards. I'm trying to make at least 6 a week until they're done. Luckily, I only need to make 30. You can see the die I'm using, its from Crafter Companion, the Nativity scene die cuts I made using the die, the red shimmer paper, and the inks I used. You can also see a package of tiny foam squares (2.5 mm squares) I purchased at the last stamp show I worked.

Up top, are some of the partially completed Christmas cards. I really love that die. You can also see sponge make-up triangle I purchased from the Dollar Tree.

Later, I moved on to die cutting some Christmas sentiment using the Spellbinders dies. Here's a better pic of the tiny foam squares, and small can of Coke (7.5oz).

Here's my second Heartfelt Creations design team posting using the All Geared Up collection

Card Size is 5 x 7. Start with a blank card base, cut and 5 x 7 piece of black cardstock, cut a 5 x 7 card front from All Geared Up Collection paper, trim card front to 4 7/8 x 6 7/8, sponge edges with Walnut Stain distress ink, glue card front to black cardstock, add ribbon to one corner, and glue to card base.  Die cut black cardstock using 1A Large Rounded Rectangle die, stamp Nut and Bolts sentiment onto white cardstock using black ink, color image using Copic markers, die cut image using 1B Large Rounded Rectangle die, sponge image with distress inks, sponge image VersaMark ink, dust image with UTEE, heat set, glue image to black cardstock, and glue die cuts to center of card. Die cut All Geared Up Collections paper using All Geared Up flowers and leaf dies, and make die cuts into flowers. Die cut ticket from All Geared Up Collection paper, heat emboss ticket using information found in video tutorial here. Make bow using Really Reasonable Ribbon Fallen Leaves, and hot glue bow to card. Hot glue flowers and ticket to card.

Heartfelt Creations Nuts and Bolts

Hello All,

Here's this week's Heartfelt Creations design team posting. For this posting, I decided to make a tag using the All Geared Up Collection.

Tag size is 6 1/4 x 3 1/8. Start with a blank tag base, cut 6 1/4 x 3 1/8 piece of black cardstock, and glue black cardstock to blank tag. Cut a 6 1/4 x 3 1/8 piece of All Geared Up Collection paper, trim 1/8 of an inch from all edges, light distress edges, sponge edges with Tea Dye distress ink, and glue to tag. Die cut All Geared Up Collection paper using Fancy Lattice die, tear die cut into small pieces, and glue pieces to tag. Die cut gold and copper cardstock using All Geared Up flower and gear dies, and hot glue some of the die cuts to the tag. Die cut various All Geared Up Collection paper using All Geared Up leaf die, and glue die cuts to tag. Die cut black cardstock using Decorative Labels Thirty-Four #4 die, and glue die cut to tag. Stamp (3) Nuts and Bolts images onto white cardstock using black ink, color images with Spectrum Noir markers, die cut first image using Labels Thirty-Four #5 die, sponge with Tea Dye ink, and glue to Decorative Labels Thirty-Four die cut. Cut flower and bolt from second Nuts and Bolts image, and adhere to first image using foam squares. Cut bolt from third Nuts and Bolts image, and adhere to second image using foam squares. Die cut ticket from All Geared Up Collection paper using Luggage and Tags ticket die, and glue ticket to tag. Hot glue remaining flowers, gears and leaves to tag.

It's time for What's On Your Work desk? Wednesday. If you would like to know why I'm showing my desk go on over to Julia's blog, Stamping Ground.

Here's my desk.

Today, I'm working on card for my son's school bus driver, it's Bus Driver Appreciation Week. Yes, there's such a thing. So, there are a few supplies I used to make the card and envelope. You can see the My Favorite Things stamps and dies, Spellbinders dies, distress ink, Fiskars stamp press, and paper.

Here's the other side of my desk. You can see some more supplies I used to make the card, some Copic and Spectrum Noir markers, the envelope, stamp pad, and some more paper.

Heartfelt Creations Tarnished Gears

Hello,

Here's this week's Heartfelt Creations design team posting. This week we are doing a cross promotional with Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Card size is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2. Start with a blank card base, and sponge edges with Vintage Photo distress ink. Cut a 5 x 5 piece of brown cardstock, and glue to center of card base. Cut a 5 x 5 card front, trim card front to 4 7/8 x 4 7/8, sponge edges with Vintage Photo distress in, and glue to center of card. Die cut gold and copper cardstock using All Geared Up dies, die cut All Geared Up collection paper using All Geared Up leaf die, and glue die cuts to card. Cut a 4 1/8 x 4 1/8 piece of brown cardstock, and glue cardstock to center of card. Cut a 4 x 4 piece of white cardstock, stamp Tarnished Gears image and sentiment onto white cardstock using black ink, color image with Spectrum Noir markers, and glue image to center of card. Glue die cuts and bow to card.
