Mojo Monday and a Birthday Card

Hello Everyone,

I hope that you are enjoying Memorial Day and your families. My day has been spent recovering from my drive to North Carolina for my youngest brother wedding. The trip was long, but the wedding was nice. The day was beautiful, and so was day bride. I still can't believe my baby brother's (he's 28) is married. Well today I have a card that was made for my friend's upcoming birthday using the MoJo Monday 193 sketch.

My card is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2. I used double sided paper to make the triangles. The plaid is the opposite side of the glittered floral. I stamped the focal with Memento ink and colored with Copic markers. I stamped the flowers a second time and layered. Well that's it for me today.

Have a Happy Memorial Day and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice to secure our freedom.

I'll blog with you later,
Regina

I almost didn't enter this challenge, my mojo had left the building, and I could think of anything to make with these color. But my mojo returned home, and I was able to create this card.

It's time for another What's On Your Work desk Wednesday, I love this time if the week.  I get to see what everyone else is doing in the craft world. Well this week, if you have seen my previous post, I have been playing with my new toys. On my 1st work desk there are a couple of cards I have created using my new Heartfelt Creations stamps. I also have a 12 x 12 Christmas page that's still a WIP (work in progress). I can't seem to figure out how to finish it. It's missing something (besides the picture).

My 2nd work desk has my finished Christmas 2010 scrapbook pages (yeah, I'm a little behind) and my graduation scrapbooks that I need to send to my parents.  I've managed to keep my area pretty clean after completely cleaning last week. We shall see how long it last.

Thanks for stopping my and checking out my areas. I'll blog with you later.

Hugs,
Regina

It's that time again for another What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.  This week my workdesks are little tidier than usual. I spent the last two night cleaning my craft room in hopes of keeping it clean, yeah right. On my first workdesk are all the projects that I need to complete. I'm working on a card to enter into a challenge at StampTv.  I'm in the process of completing some Christmas scrapbook LO's to send to my parents, and I'm working on my graduation LO's.  You can also see my ever growing craft wish list.

On my second workdesk are my completed graduation scrapbooks that I'm sending to my parents and my MIL.  You can also see a corner of the dying roses my hubby gave me. All of my toys are on here and well as my newest toy "The Cinch".

Well thank you for stopping by and taking a little look into my world
Take care and will blog with you later.

Thank You Cards

These cards were created out of a need and a want.  I needed to make some Thank You cards to send to everyone who sent me a graduation card or gift. I want to enter the Flourishes 3 In A Row challenge, so I killed 2 birds with on stone.

HOW TO PLAY: See this grid above? All you need to do is make a card or creation by using the items in the straight line of your choice. You can take it vertical, horizontal or even diagonally. For instance, want to take the first column up and down, your card would need to have a button, bling and a die cut shape. Want to take the bottom row? Your creation needs a die cut, lace and at least one pearl!

So, for my Thank You cards, I took the diagonal section. My cards include a die cut, a flower, and a scallop.  The die cut is the "Thank You" tag and the flourish, the flowers are attached to the flourish, and the scallops are in the corners. The cards are 4 x 4.

Have a wonderful day, and I'll blog with you later.

Hugs,
Regina

Stamp: JustRite's Baroque Nested Frames & Occasions

Flourishes Sketch Challenge

Hello Everyone,

My card today was created for the Flourishes Sketch Challenge. This is pretty cool sketch to use. I'm thinking I may even used this sketch to create a scrapbook layout.

I didn't use any Spellbinders' dies on this card, which was a little difficult, they are one of my favorite tools.  I use a chipboard frame by American Crafts that I have been hoarding for a couple of years now and have never used until today.

Close Up of the sentiment
I really like this sentiment. It's so inspiring.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful day.

Hugs,
Regina

WOYWW 101

We'll it time for another What's On Your Work Desk Wednesday. Here's what's on mine.
On my first work desk you can see all of my tools. Nellie (my Grand Calibur), Cuttle bug and Cricut, and The Cinch (my newest toy). You might have notice that I'm a bit of a tools junkie. Today was my graduation, so there's my ceremony items. There's also a scrapbook page I completed for the JustRite Challenge.

On my second work desk, I have the covers for 4 graduation books I'm making for my parents, they weren't able to make it to my graduation. As you can see, my school's colors are black and gold. The books are 8 x 8, but it's still a lot of work and I'm loving it. I'm also creating so 12 x 12 layouts to put in my scrapbook.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful evening. I need so rest.

Hugs,
Regina

Mother's Day Scrapbook Page

Well I'm trying to catch up on some scrapbooking, so I decided to start with my Mother's Day page. I used the sketch from JustRite's Challenge #054 to created this page. You know how much I love sketches. Sketches that all the guess work out of my projects, especially when my mojo has left my high and dry.

Here's my take on the sketch. My page is a 12 x 12, my favorite scrapbook size.

The flower I made is kinda big, so this page will have to go in a shadow box.

Well that's it for now. I have 3 graduation books I'm making for my family since they will not be able to make it to my graduation. These will only be 8 x 8 mini books with 4 to 6 pages, they will be exactly the same (this is where digital scrapbooking would come in handy).  If I'm lucky I will have the pages done, and all I'll have to do after graduation is attach the pictures. We shall see.
Have a wonderful day, and I'll blog with you later.
Hugs,
Regina
