Heartfelt Creation Romantique Garden Collection Part II

Hello Everyone,

Love is in full bloom with the Romantique Garden collection from Heartfelt Creations.  A romantic symphony composed in subtle shades of pink, fuchsia, green, cream and charcoal harmonizes beautifully with picturesque images of dainty hummingbirds, devoted love birds, graceful swans and delicate bleeding heart bushes.  Ornate ironwork backgrounds are in perfect harmony with layered elements of vintage sheet music, lace, flowing handwriting, scrollwork, florals, stripes and flourishes.  Six hand drawn stamp sets capture the idyllic beauty of a peaceful garden where swans glide across the surface of a glassy lake, nesting lovebirds are wreathed in flowers, and hummingbirds sip nectar from blossom laden branches of exquisite beauty.  The coordinating die cuts feature elegant swirled stems, a graduated set of bleeding heart blossoms and a majestic pair of swimming swans.  Dreamy and idyllic, uplifting and inspiring, romantic and moving as a masterfully scored concerto, this enchanting collection is a celebration of love and life amidst the extraordinary beauty of nature.

WOYWW #283

Hi All,

It's time for What's On Your Work desk? Wednesday. If you would like to know what all this craziness is about, head on over to Julia's blog Stamping Ground.

I finally started working on Christmas cards. I'm trying to make at least 6 a week until they're done. Luckily, I only need to make 30. You can see the die I'm using, its from Crafter Companion, the Nativity scene die cuts I made using the die, the red shimmer paper, and the inks I used. You can also see a package of tiny foam squares (2.5 mm squares) I purchased at the last stamp show I worked.

Up top, are some of the partially completed Christmas cards. I really love that die. You can also see sponge make-up triangle I purchased from the Dollar Tree.

Later, I moved on to die cutting some Christmas sentiment using the Spellbinders dies. Here's a better pic of the tiny foam squares, and small can of Coke (7.5oz).

Thanks for stopping by.
Have a Blessed Day

Heartfelt Creations All Geared Up Part II

Hello All,

Shift your creativity into high gear with the All Geared Up collection from Heartfelt Creations! This imaginative mix of gears, cogs, and mechanical flowers uses deep shades of rust, brown, teal, red and cream to create a fabulous industrial vibe. Clever vanity license plates, chains, wire, rugged stripes and distressed graphics mesh perfectly with Steampunk or masculine projects, and will keep your wheels turning with ideas for "girly grunge" creations, too. The versatile All Geared Up dies feature fanciful sprockets, gears, cogs, chains and license plates that can be shaped into innovative 3-D embellishments or die cut from white cardstock to create beautiful doily accents. Six hand drawn stamp sets continue the mechanical theme with a large Cogs and Gears background stamp, themed accent stamps, mechanical bouquets and playful sentiments that are "geared" to carry your project across the finish line with a smile. The All Geared Up Collection has been designed to inspire the bold in you....so let's gear up!
Journal Size is 9 3/4 x 7 1/2.  To cut black cardstock and All Geared Up Collection paper to size for the front and back cover use instructions found here. Glue cheesecloth to cover. Cut a 4 3/8 x 5 5/8 piece of black cardstock, cut a 4 ¼ x 5 ½ piece of white cardstock, stamp Cogs and Gear onto white cardstock using VersaMark ink, dust with black embossing powder, heat set, distress image edges; sponge entire image with distress inks, sponge image VersaMark ink, dust image with UTEE, heat set, glue image to black cardstock, and glue image to center of journal. Cover a piece of white cardstock with VersaMark ink, dusk cardstock with silver embossing powder, heat set, die cut using All Geared Up chain link die, make chain, and hot glue chain to journal. Die cut white cardstock and chipboard using All Geared Up dies, glue die cuts together, cover white side of VersaMark ink, mix black, gold and silver embossing powder together, dust die cuts with embossing power, heat set, and glue to journal. Die cut tickets from All Geared Up paper, heat emboss tickets using information found in video tutorial here, and hot glue tickets to journal.
