Hello Everyone,
Today's card is going to be entered into the Flourishes Copy Cat Challenge. So for this challenge all we need to do to enter is look at the Flourishes blog roll on the right hand side of the blog and check out ANY one of their designers from any team — their Design Team, their Friends of Flourishes team, or their Bring Back Beautiful team. Surf around their team link list and choose a card they created and CASE it — you know what CASE means, right? It means Copy And Steal Everything. So I found this card by DT member Stacy Morgan.
I just love this card, so simple yet so elegant. Here's my copy cat card.
This was such a fun challenge. Well that's all for me. I'll blog with you later. Have a great day and a fabulous weekend.
Hugs,
Regina

HeartFelt Creations and Flourshes July Sketch Challenge
Hello Everyone,
Today's card is for Flourishes July Sketch Challenge, and I'm using one of my favorite stamps from Heartfelt Creations. I reached deep into my paper stash and found this stack by DCWV. Everything is coordinated, so it makes thing a little easier for me. Here's the July sketch from Flourishes.
Well, that's all for me today. My craft room is a mess, and I need to clean it up a bit before I do some more crafting. I know, that sounds a little silly. But I can't function, when everything is a mess and unorganized. Have a fabulous day, and I'll blog with you later.
Hugs,
Regina

Once Upon A.......Sketch, Sketch Challenge
Hello Everyone,
Well, as I've mentioned a few post ago, I needed to catch up on my scrapbooking. I've managed to get the 4 graduation scrapbooks for my family completed and delivered, but I've only done 1 graduation layout for my scrapbook. I also mentioned, I wanted to be a little more daring with my layout, not my usual plain and simple. With the help of Once Upon A..........Sketch's sketch, I now have 1 more page completed, and I jazzed this page up a little. Before I get into the details, here's the wonderful sketch I used.
Here's my take on the sketch.
I used my Heartfelt Creations stamps and dies to create the flowers and butterfly (the butterfly was stamped on vellum). They were both stamped with VersaMark ink, heat embossed with black embossing power, and colored with Copic markers.
The corner die is also by Heartfelt Creations. I sponged the doily and background with some black ink, and lightly spritz it with some Glimmer Mist, to tone down the white color. I punched the DP with a Martha Stewart punch, and cut out "HAMILTONS" with my cricut and cartridge. The journaling was printed using my laptop and printer, mounted on black cardstock and spritzed with Glimmer Mist. I really liked the way this layout turned out, I may just enter into the Once Upon A......Sketch July Challenge.
Well, that's it for me for now. I will blog with you later. Have a most fabulous day.
Hugs,
Regina

Mommy's Little Tree Hugger
Hello Everyone,
I hope that everyone had a fabulous holiday weekend. To start off my crafting week, I did a layout for the Imaginisce Monthly Challenge - Sketch Challenge. Here's the fabulous sketch created by DT member Aphra Bolyer.
I'm using the Imaginisce Happy Camper Collection, that I won, on this LO.
This is such a cute outdoors/camping collection. I'm not much of a camper, so I used the collection to make an outdoor LO of my son, who just love the two pine trees in our front yard.
I added Imaginisce's Hot Rock around the page. I didn't have any green Hot Rocks, so I colored the clear ones with a Copic marker. Bling isn't just for girl pages. I cut out some circles for the coordinating paper to adorn the page, inked the edges, added the die cut title and chipboard.
Have a wonderful day and I'll blog with you later.
Hugs,
Regina
