Heartfelt Creations The Lord is my Refuge Birdhouse

Hello Everyone,

Here's my second Heartfelt Creations posting for the week. This time I decide to try making a birdhouse using the Arianna Blooms collection. 

 

Project Size is 8 ½ x 3 ¾ x 3 ¾.  Using Arianna Blooms Collection paper, trace and cut out birdhouse using template, sponge edges with Rhubarb Stalk ink, stamp Arianna Bird Haven and Arianna Birthday swirls around cut outs, and glue template together according to instructions. To make birdhouse roof, trace and cut flap using template, die cut (2) Arianna Blooms Collection paper using Triple Scallop Border die, glue borders to flaps alternating colors, and glue roof to birdhouse. Die cut Arianna Blooms Collection paper, white cardstock and chipboard using Classic Squares Large #7 die, glue die cuts together, and glue die cuts to the bottom of birdhouse.  Stamp Arianna Hummingbird sentiment onto Arianna Blooms Collection paper, die cut sentiment and white cardstock using Luggage and Tags tag die, glue die cuts together, sponge edges with Rhubarb Stalk ink, and hot glue tag to birdhouse. Die cut stamens from white cardstock using Arianna Blooms dies, and sponge stamens with Mustard Seed distress ink. Die cut (4) swirls from white cardstock using Arianna Lace swirl die, and sponge swirls with Moss Green stamp paint.  Stamp Arianna Blooms flowers onto white cardstock using Rhubarb Stalk ink, die cut flowers using Arianna Blooms dies, sponge flowers with Rhubarb Stalk ink, shape flowers, sponge flowers with Carmine Red stamp paint, hot glue stamens to center of flowers, hot glue swirls to back of flowers, and hot glue flowers to birdhouse base. Die cut (2) Arianna Blooms Collection paper using Arianna Lace accent die, and glue die cuts to birdhouse.  Glue lace trim to birdhouse roof using Scor-Tape.

Hello All,

Here's my weekly Heartfelt Creations DT posting. I'm so loving this collections. Well, to be honest, I love all the HC collections.

Project size is 6 x 6. Begin with a 6 x 12 piece of white cardstock, score cardstock at 6, fold, cut a 6 x 6 piece of green cardstock, and glue green cardstock to card base. Cut 6 x 6 card front from Arianna Blooms Collection paper, trim card front to 5 7/8 x 5 7/8, sponge edges with Bundle Sage distress ink, and glue card front to card base. Stamp Arianna Hummingbird sentiment onto card using black ink. Die cut green cardstock using Stately Circles #4 die, stamp Arianna Vines image onto white cardstock using black ink, color image with Prismacolor pencils, die cut image using Standard Circles Small #7 die, sponge image using Bundled Sage distress ink, remove die, glue image onto Stately Circles die cut, and glue die cuts to center of card. Die cut stamens from white cardstock using Arianna Blooms dies, and color tips of stamens using yellow marker. Die cut (3) swirls from white cardstock using Arianna Lace swirl die.  Stamp Arianna Blooms flowers onto white cardstock using Rhubarb Stalk ink, die cut flowers using Arianna Blooms dies, sponge flowers with Rhubarb Stalk ink, shape flower, sponge tips of flowers with Carmine Red stamp paint, hot glue stamens to center of flowers, glue swirls to back of flowers, hot glue flowers to card, and glue pearls to center of flowers.

Stamp Arianna Blooms Bouquet image onto white cardstock using black ink, color image with Prismacolor pencils, die cut image using Classic Ovals Large #5 die, sponge image using Bundled Sage distress ink, remove die, die cut white cardstock using Arianna Lace floral die, cut die cut in half and glue on the side of oval die cut, and glue die cuts to center of card. Die cut stamens from white cardstock using Arianna Blooms dies, add glue to tip of stamens, and dip stamens into pollen. Die cut (2) swirls from white cardstock using Arianna Lace swirl die.  Stamp Arianna Blooms flowers onto white cardstock using Rose Bud ink, die cut flowers using Arianna Blooms dies, sponge flowers with Rose Bud and Rhubarb Stalk inks, shape flower, sponge tips of flowers with Carmine Red stamp paint, hot glue stamens to center of flowers, glue swirls to back of flowers, and hot glue flowers to card. Die cut tag from Arianna Blooms Collection paper using Luggage and Tags die, sponge edges with Rose Bud ink, and glue to card.

JustRite Friday Challenge #122 - Card & Envelope

Hello Everyone,

Here's a set I made for the JustRite Friday Challenge #122 - Card & Envelope set. For this challenge we had to create a card with matching embellished envelope using JustRite products. 

Here's my set. 

I made a Father's Day card and envelope of my wonderful supportive hubby. I've mentioned, quite a few times, that it's hard for my to make a masculine card. This one was no different. Since I don't own any masculine JR stamps, it's really hard to make masculine cards. So, I stamped the Antique Damask background onto craft paper and sponged with distress inks to give it a masculine look. I left the label on the envelope blank so I can write a special message later.
