Hi All,

It's time for What's On Your Work desk? Wednesday. If you would like to know what all this craziness is about, head on over to Julia's blog Stamping Ground.

I finally started working on Christmas cards. I'm trying to make at least 6 a week until they're done. Luckily, I only need to make 30. You can see the die I'm using, its from Crafter Companion, the Nativity scene die cuts I made using the die, the red shimmer paper, and the inks I used. You can also see a package of tiny foam squares (2.5 mm squares) I purchased at the last stamp show I worked.

Up top, are some of the partially completed Christmas cards. I really love that die. You can also see sponge make-up triangle I purchased from the Dollar Tree.

Later, I moved on to die cutting some Christmas sentiment using the Spellbinders dies. Here's a better pic of the tiny foam squares, and small can of Coke (7.5oz).

Heartfelt Creations Plates and Gears

Hello Everyone,

Here's my second Heartfelt Creations design team posting using the All Geared Up collection

Card Size is 5 x 7. Start with a blank card base, cut and 5 x 7 piece of black cardstock, cut a 5 x 7 card front from All Geared Up Collection paper, trim card front to 4 7/8 x 6 7/8, sponge edges with Walnut Stain distress ink, glue card front to black cardstock, add ribbon to one corner, and glue to card base.  Die cut black cardstock using 1A Large Rounded Rectangle die, stamp Nut and Bolts sentiment onto white cardstock using black ink, color image using Copic markers, die cut image using 1B Large Rounded Rectangle die, sponge image with distress inks, sponge image VersaMark ink, dust image with UTEE, heat set, glue image to black cardstock, and glue die cuts to center of card. Die cut All Geared Up Collections paper using All Geared Up flowers and leaf dies, and make die cuts into flowers. Die cut ticket from All Geared Up Collection paper, heat emboss ticket using information found in video tutorial here. Make bow using Really Reasonable Ribbon Fallen Leaves, and hot glue bow to card. Hot glue flowers and ticket to card.

Heartfelt Creations Nuts and Bolts

Hello All,

Here's this week's Heartfelt Creations design team posting. For this posting, I decided to make a tag using the All Geared Up Collection.

Tag size is 6 1/4 x 3 1/8. Start with a blank tag base, cut 6 1/4 x 3 1/8 piece of black cardstock, and glue black cardstock to blank tag. Cut a 6 1/4 x 3 1/8 piece of All Geared Up Collection paper, trim 1/8 of an inch from all edges, light distress edges, sponge edges with Tea Dye distress ink, and glue to tag. Die cut All Geared Up Collection paper using Fancy Lattice die, tear die cut into small pieces, and glue pieces to tag. Die cut gold and copper cardstock using All Geared Up flower and gear dies, and hot glue some of the die cuts to the tag. Die cut various All Geared Up Collection paper using All Geared Up leaf die, and glue die cuts to tag. Die cut black cardstock using Decorative Labels Thirty-Four #4 die, and glue die cut to tag. Stamp (3) Nuts and Bolts images onto white cardstock using black ink, color images with Spectrum Noir markers, die cut first image using Labels Thirty-Four #5 die, sponge with Tea Dye ink, and glue to Decorative Labels Thirty-Four die cut. Cut flower and bolt from second Nuts and Bolts image, and adhere to first image using foam squares. Cut bolt from third Nuts and Bolts image, and adhere to second image using foam squares. Die cut ticket from All Geared Up Collection paper using Luggage and Tags ticket die, and glue ticket to tag. Hot glue remaining flowers, gears and leaves to tag.

Today, I'm working on card for my son's school bus driver, it's Bus Driver Appreciation Week. Yes, there's such a thing. So, there are a few supplies I used to make the card and envelope. You can see the My Favorite Things stamps and dies, Spellbinders dies, distress ink, Fiskars stamp press, and paper.

Here's the other side of my desk. You can see some more supplies I used to make the card, some Copic and Spectrum Noir markers, the envelope, stamp pad, and some more paper.

Heartfelt Creations Tarnished Gears

Hello,

Here's this week's Heartfelt Creations design team posting. This week we are doing a cross promotional with Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Card size is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2. Start with a blank card base, and sponge edges with Vintage Photo distress ink. Cut a 5 x 5 piece of brown cardstock, and glue to center of card base. Cut a 5 x 5 card front, trim card front to 4 7/8 x 4 7/8, sponge edges with Vintage Photo distress in, and glue to center of card. Die cut gold and copper cardstock using All Geared Up dies, die cut All Geared Up collection paper using All Geared Up leaf die, and glue die cuts to card. Cut a 4 1/8 x 4 1/8 piece of brown cardstock, and glue cardstock to center of card. Cut a 4 x 4 piece of white cardstock, stamp Tarnished Gears image and sentiment onto white cardstock using black ink, color image with Spectrum Noir markers, and glue image to center of card. Glue die cuts and bow to card.
