Hello,
I'm playing around with another gift from my DH. Well, he actually gave me a new Spellbinders Grand Caliber, 10 new Spellbinders die sets, bezels, an embossing folder, and the magnetic space plate. Have I told you all how much I LOVE that man.
With all that said. I made another card for the JustRite Friday Challenge #092 - Make It Pop Challenge using one of my new die sets.
I LOVE this die. I usually don't make A2 size card, I prefer A7, but I will be making more .
To make this card I started with an 4 1/4 x 11 piece of purple cardstock, and score at 5 1/2. I cut a piece of pattern paper to 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 and glued to purple card base. I die cut the Filigree die, added foam squares, and attached to pattern paper. I stamped the sentiment onto cream cardstock, die cut, sponged before removing paper from die, removed die, sponged the edges, added foam squares to back and adhered to center of Filigree die cut.
I die cut the flowers from cream cardstock and pattern paper, sponged the edges with distress ink, rolled and glued.
Thank you so much for taking time to visit my blog. Have a Blessed day, and I'll with you later.
Hugs,
Regina

I saw your post yesterday and read the further gifts from your DH on today's post. What a DH, indeed! I think he is a keeper. ;)
Did I mention I like your card? :)

Just beautiful, Regina! Beautiful colors and I love your roses! Blessings! Kathy
Well, I have to say STUNNING . . . I am talking about the card too, not your DH's thoughtfulness!!! LOVE your color choices and those gorgeous flowers, Regina!
Now that DH of yours deserves a ton of credit, as I know you may have hinted to him a little bit, but 'metal' is the suggested gift for a 10th anniversary, so he's spot on with that -- yep, he's a keeper!!! Know you'll enjoy those SBs goodies and put each one to great use -- YAY!!!
Gorgeous card Regina!! Love the design and those sweet sweet flowers!! Bitty Blossoms is one of my fave to make small roses!! You created them to perfection!! xo
