Heartfelt Creations and Scor Pal

Hello Everyone,

Today we are doing a cross promotion with Scor-Pal. Please visit the Heartfelt Creation blog at www.heartfeltcreations.us/blog and the Scor Pal blog at http://scor-pal.blogspot.com/. Prepare to be blown away with all the amazing project featuring the Scor Pal and Heartfelt Creations products.
For this project, I decided to step outside my comfort zone, again, and make another mini album using the Heartfelt Creations Gateway To The Seasons Collection

I must say, this is one of the most product heavy projects I have ever done. This mini has 10 pages, uses 11 different stamp sets, 6 different die sets (and wouldn't darn count the actual die cuts), ribbon, pearls and stickers. Now, sit back with your favorite beverage, and I'll show you how I made this  (big) mini album.

Instructions: Mini Album size is 6 x 6
(1) Start with a 6 x 8 ¼ piece of cardstock. Score paper on 1 ½, 1 ¾, 2 ¼, 2 ¾, 3, 3 ½, 4, 4 ¼, 4 ¾, 5 ¼, 5 ½, 6, 6 ½, and 6 ¾ score lines. (2) Fold on the score lines.  Use the ½ inch sections to create peaks.
(3) Place ½ Scor-Tape in ½ sections.  (4) Remove paper backing and adhere together.  Cut (2) 6 x 1 ¼ pieces of chipboard and adhere together using 1/2 Scor-Tape.

(5) Attach Scor-Tape to the back of the accordion section.  (6) Remove Scor-Tape backing and adhere chipboard to create book binding.  (7) Cut (4) 6 x 6 pieces of chipboard from cereal boxes, attached 2 together using ½ Scor-Tape, and attach to spine.  (8) To create book pages, start with 12 x 12 sheet of cardstock, cut to 6 x 12, score at 6, and fold.

Sponge edges with distress ink. To make tag pocket, place tag in position and add Scor-Tape around tag. You may want to give the tag a little more room than I did. This was a little tight (lesson learned).

To make pocket pages, begin with a 12 x 12 sheet of cardstock, score at 6 inches, turn page and score at 6 inches.  Score left and right on the bottom left square, and score right to left on the bottom right square, fold in to make triangles, fold sheet in half, and fold sheet once more (this will create the pockets).  If you don’t want the bulk, instead of folding in the triangles, cut off the triangles instead.

To create flowers:
Roses - You can find a video for making the roses on the Heartfelt Creations video tutorial here.

Aster - you will need (2) large Delicate Asters flowers, (2) of the next smaller size flower and (4) leaves.  Stamp Delicate Asters onto white cardstock using aged mahogany distress ink, die cut with Delicate Asters dies, and then sponge with worn lipstick and bundled sage, and pickle raspberry distress inks. Place flowers and leaves onto molding mat, using a stylist; shape the flower petals and leaves. Glue the 2 largest flowers together alternating the flower petals, add (1) of the smaller flowers to the center, sticker jewels to center, and glue to card.

Tattered Blossoms - You will 3 blossoms for each flower.  Stamp the Tattered Blossoms flowers using picked raspberry distress ink, dies cut with Tattered Blossoms dies, and sponge with Victorian velvet distress ink.  Place flowers onto molding mat, using a stylist; shape the flower petals. Glue the 3 flowers together alternating the flower petals, sticker jewels to center, and glue to card.

Poinsettia: Stamp and Die cut (8) of the smallest flower, and (4) next size flowers from white cardstock using forest moss distress ink, remove die, and sponge with bundles sage distress ink. Using (2) flowers, fold petals in half upwards, glue 1st flower onto 2nd flower alternating the petals, and add jewel stickers to the center.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Now, head on over to the Heartfelt Creations and Scor-Pal blogs to see what everyone has created.

Have a Blessed Day
Hugs,
Regina
