Hello All,
It's time for the JustRite Friday Challenge #103 - Things With Wings. For this challenge we am simply asked you to use something with wings on our project. This could be a butterfly, bee, angel, fairy, dragonfly or even an airplane! So I decided to use butterflies, of course.
Today is my hubby's birthday, so this is a two for one card. Now, I have often mentioned that I have a difficult time with masculine projects, and this one was no different. I guess it's hard for me not to use flowers, bling, ribbon, and girlie colors. So I haven't gotten past using flowers, fortunately my hubby doesn't mind flowers, but ribbon and girlie colors are little hard for him to take. So to tone done the flowers, I used a masculine papers, distress the edges, and used lots of distress ink. I guess it doesn't look to faminine.

Regina, I don't know that I'd call this masculine, but it's certainly vintage and classy, and that should work for everyone. It may be different than your usual, but still is a wonderful card with all fabulous detail and care that you show on all your projects!
It's absolutely stunning, Regina!! It would be perfect for a man or woman!! I love the gorgeous flowers and the beautiful butterflies!! This is fabulous!! I hope you hubby had a wonderful birthday!! Happy Saturday :)

Lovely! And you did use a masculine color palette....Nicely done!
Lovely card and great selection for the color.
Just beautiful Regina who says there can't be flowers on masculine cards.
Oh Regina,,,,,,as always, just stunning!!!!! So striking!
This is just gorgeous. I bet your hubby loved it. The carmel colors here are beautiful together with the black. And the design is so pretty too....I would never have thought to use two seperate sentiments spots! Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving such a nice comment.
Thank goodness our husbands are understanding, huh?! lol
Beautiful card - I think it looks masculine too! Thanks for sharing with us at JustRite Inspiration ;-)
This certainly WOWs me, Regina, and I hope it did that for your hubby's bday too!!! It's simply EXQUISITE in every detail and I LOVE the color combo!!! Fun to 'chat' @ SB's today, but wish one of us could have won? Maybe -- there's still a chance?!
