Heartfelt Creation Birds and Blooms Collection

Does Old Man Winter have you firmly in his grip?  Chase the winter blues away with a breath of springtime!  Heartfelt Creations is pleased to present the "Birds and Blooms" collection:  a virtual spring garden that's lovely as a song! Shades of cherry blossom pink, robin's egg blue, and soft leafy green fill sunny garden scenes featuring bluebirds, blooming branches, picket fences, bird baths, bird houses, butterflies and frilly hydrangeas.  Dozens of stunning card fronts, pre-designed layouts, borders, sentiments and artwork are the perfect remedy for mid-winter doldrums. Six hand-drawn stamp sets feature blossom laden branches, nesting birds, garden scenes and an elegant collage.  Two sets of dies coordinate with papers and stamps allowing you to add realistic blossoms, branches and birds to your artwork.  Take a well-deserved break from the bleak landscape of winter and escape to a colorful springtime garden where birds chirp, flowers bloom, and soft breezes lift your spirit and inspire your creativity!

Frame size is 9 ¼ x 7 3/8 x 1 ¾. Start with a bare wooden shadow box frame, paint entire frame with white paint, and let paint dry. Cut pink cardstock and Birds and Blooms Collection paper to cover shadow box top, sponge edges of cardstock and paper with Worn Lipstick distress ink, and glue to frame. Cut a 5 x 7 piece of pink cardstock, sponge edges of cardstock using Worn Lipstick distress ink, and glue to inside of the shadow box. Cut a 5 x 7 card front from Birds and Bloom Collection paper, trim card front to 4 7/8 x 6 7/8, sponge edges of cardstock with Worn Lipstick distress ink, and glue to the inside of the shadow box. Stamp Leafy Branch leaves and branches onto white cardstock using black ink, color branches with Forest Moss distress ink, color leaves with Peeled Paint and Forest Moss distress inks, shape leaves, and glue leaves to branches. Stamp Birds and Blooms flowers on to watercolor paper using Rose Bud ink, die cut flowers using Leafy Branch flower die, hot glue flowers to branches, and glue pearls to center of flowers. Die cut Hibiscus Burst cardstock using Labels 39 Decorative Accent #4 die, glue die card to center of box, die cut Birds and Blooms Collection paper using Labels 39 Decorative Elements #4 die, and glue die cut to center of box. Stamp Home Sweet Home image onto white cardstock using black ink, color image with Prismacolor pencil, die cut image using Labels Thirty Nine #4 die, sponge with Worn Lipstick distress ink, and glue to center of box. Stamp Birds and Blooms bird image onto white cardstock using black ink, die cut bird using Bird and Blooms die, and color bird with Prismacolor pencils. Adhere ribbon around box top, add bead trim to top, and hot glue branch, flowers, and bird to top.
