Heartfelt Creations Celebrate the Journey Collection

Heartfelt Creations invites you to “Celebrate the Journey” with this classic travel-themed collection.  Whether you are traveling around the world or around the block, you will find papers, stamps and dies to document your life’s adventures.  The coordinating stamps and papers feature maps, compass roses, bicycles, hot air balloons, vintage suitcases, boarding passes and postcards. The clever Luggage and Tag die even creates a delightful 3-D suitcase! Soft hues of light green, deep teal, pink and rose merge with subtle, neutral backgrounds that are richly layered with beautiful fonts, flourishes and focal images.  “Celebrate the Journey” is just the ticket for both masculine and feminine projects, the perfect traveling companion for all of life’s journeys great and small.

Projects Size is 5 x 7. Begin with a blank 5 x 7 card base, cut an 5 x 7 card front from Celebrate the Journey paper, trim card front to 4 7/8 x 6 7/8, sponge edges with Vintage Photo distress ink, and glue card front to card base. Die cut (2) Raindrops on Roses accents from cream cardstock, and glue die cuts to card front. Die cut brown cardstock using A2 Matting Basics A #7 die, stamp World Map image onto white cardstock using Rich Cocoa ink, die cut image using A2 Matting Basics B #7 die, sponge image with Scattered Straw, Brushed Corduroy and Scattered Straw distress inks, glue die cuts together leaving space for tag. Die cut tags from Celebrate the Journey paper and white cardstock Using luggage and Tags die, sponge with Scattered Straw and Vintage Photo distress inks, stamp Luggage and Sentiments image onto white tag using Rich Cocoa ink, glue die cuts together, add eyelet and ribbon to tag, and insert tag into card. Stamp All Occasion Sentiments image onto white cardstock using Rich Cocoa ink, die cut image using Fancy Tags Two tag, trim image at embossing line, sponge with Scattered Straw and Vintage Photo distress ink, die cut brown cardstock and chipboard using Fancy Tags Two, glue die cuts together, glue sentiment in center of tag, and glue die cut to World Map image. Cut sentiment from Celebrate the Journey paper, sponge with Scattered Straw and Vintage Photo distress ink, and glue sentiment to card front.

Heartfelt Creations Time to Celebrate

Hello All,

Here's a box I made for the Heartfelt Creations weekly posting. 

Project Size is 6 ¾ x 5 ½ x 4 ¼.  Began by cutting out box using black cardstock and Once Upon a Time Paper following template instructions, sponge edges of Once Upon a Time paper with Black Soot distress ink, and glue box together according to template instructions.  Stamp Time Sentiment images onto white cardstock using black ink, die cut images and chipboard using Once Upon a Time die, sponge images with Victorian Velvet distress ink, and glue die cuts together. Die cut Fancy Tags Three tag from black cardstock and chipboard, glue die cuts together, and glue die cuts to box. Cut (2) Thinking of You sentiments from Once Upon a Time paper, and glue sentiments around bottom edge of box.  Add border stickers and swirls to box. Stamp Posy Patch flowers onto white cardstock using black ink, color flowers with Victorian Velvet and Worn Lipstick distress inks, die cut flower using Posy Patch #1 #4 dies, and #7 dies, add glitter to center of flowers, and hot glue flowers to box. Glue Time Sentiments images to box.

 I don't know about anyone else, but I'm so glad the weather has finally warmed up. So, to express my excitement, I made a spring card. 

To make the flowers, I stamped the Elegant Fronds background onto white cardstock using Angle Pink ink,  sponged the entire background with Worn Lipstick distress ink, and die cut with Bitty Blossoms dies.

Heartfelt Creations I always Have Time

Hello,

Here's my one of my final projects for the month using Heartfelt Creations Once Upon a Time Collection.

Project size is 6 x 6. Start with a 6 x 12 piece of white cardstock, score at 6, and fold. Cut a piece of brown cardstock to 5 7/8 x 5 7/8, glue cardstock to center of card base, cut a piece of Once Upon a Time paper to 5 ¾ x 5 ¾, sponge edges with Vintage Photo distress ink, and glue to center of card base. Die cut white cardstock and chipboard using Captivating Squares #4 die,  sponge white cardstock with Vintage Photo distress ink, remove die, glue die cuts together, and glue to card base. Die cut Once Upon a Time paper using Classic Squares Large #6 die, sponge edges with Vintage Photo distress ink, glue square die cut to the center of Captivating Square die cut. Die cut white cardstock and chipboard using Lacy Squares #4 die, glue die cuts together, and adhere to the center of Captivating Square die cut using foam squares.  Die cut Once Upon a Time paper and chipboard using Classic Squares Small #6 die, sponge edges with Vintage Photo distress ink, glue die cuts together, and glue to the center of Lacey Squares die cut. Cut a 2 5/8 x 2 5/8 piece of white cardstock, stamp Floral Clock image in the center using Rich Cocoa ink, color image with Prismacolor pencils, sponge with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo distress inks, glue to center of Lacey Squares die cut, and add rhinestone square. Stamp Open Vintage Florets and Mini Vintage Florets onto white cardstock using Rose Bud ink, stamp Mini Vintage Florets leaf image onto green cardstock using Olive Grove ink, color flowers with Victorian Velvet and Milled Lavender distress inks, die cut images using Vintage Florets dies, make rose buds using instructions found video tutorials here, and here. Hot glue flowers to card. Stamp Time Sentiments watch image onto white cardstock using black ink, die cut image and chipboard using Once Upon a Time die, color image with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo distress ink, heat emboss image using UTEE, glue die cuts together, and glue to card.
