Hi Everyone,
Today I needed to create a card for my daddy (I'm a daddy's girl, big time) for Father's Day. I have the hardest time trying to make masculine cards. All of my papers and embellies are floral and girlie. I was really happy that I remember that I had bought this paper, some years back, just for this purpose. I used the Mojo Monday 193 sketch for this card as well. I love sketches, they come in handy when my mojo is MIA. You can see the sketch on my previous post.
This card is 6 x 6, I like making large cards for my daddy. I paper piece the laptop, and colored with Copic markers. The frames on the wall were also paper pieced and I cut out some pics of me and my son to add to them. I think daddy will like that.
I'm sure you're thinking that I'm getting a head start on my Father's Day cards. Well, that's really not the case. My son and I will be spending two weeks in Daytona Beach Florida with my MIL, and returning Father's Day weekend. I will be away from all of my toys. No stamping, card making or scrapbooking for two weeks, that will be hard (what will I do? what will I do?). But I will try to ease the pain by spending some time in the sun and on the beach. I feel the pain lessening as I think about it, lol. Well that's all I have for today.
Hugs,
Regina

I'm laughing at your comments about being away from your toys, as I totally relate!!! I always try to find a new craft store wherever we travel, so I can sneak in a little play or at least have the memory of when/where it came from! ;-) Enjoy your vacay!!!

This is a great Father's Day card, Regina. In fact, you've got some awesome cards on your blog. Have fun on the beach. I live in Florida so I can tell you it will be hot, but the beach is a great place to do "hot".
