Hello Everyone,
I made a card using the Heartfelt Creations' Burst of Splendor Collection, and another Heartfelt Creations die set, that I haven't used in awhile.
Instructions: Card Size 6 7/8 x 4 1/2
Began with a 9 x 7 piece of black card stock, score at 4 1/2, fold, place
scalloped edge die in the top edge of the folded card base (center), tape down,
and cut. Cut (2) 7 x 4 1/4 pieces of Burst of Splendor Collection papers, to
die cut the swirl die see video tutorial here,
and adhere to the outside and inside of card base. 2nd layer – cut black cardstock to 4 1/4 x 4, cut
Burst of Splendor Collection paper to 4 1/8 x 3 7/8, and glue together. 3rd
layer- cut black cardstock to 3 5/8 x 3 3/4, cut watercolor paper to 3 1/4 x
3/8, stamp Dahlia Cluster image (twice) onto watercolor paper using black ink, watercolor
image with chalk, let dry, fussy cut (1) image, layer onto rectangle cut, and heat
emboss image with clear embossing powder. Stamp Dahlia Bouquet image onto edge of 3rd
layer using dusty concord distress ink, and heat emboss using clear embossing
powder, and adhere 2nd and 3rd layers onto card base using liquid adhesive. Stamp
Hope In The Lord sentiment onto white cardstock using black ink, cut out
sentiment, sponge with dusty concord distress ink, and adhere to card base. Inside card – stamp Dahlia Bouquet image onto
the left and right edges of Burst of Splendor Collection layer using dusty
concord distress ink, and stamp Trust In The Lord sentiment using black
ink.
I really enjoyed using the Layered Elegant Swirl dies, I guess I really need to use them more often.
Now, head on over to the Heartfelt Creations blog, and take a peak at what the other designers have created.
Have A Blessed Day
Hugs,
Regina
