WOYWW #221

It's time for another What's On Your Work desk? Wednesday. If you would like to join in or if you would like to take a peak at other crafter's work desk, head on over to Julie's blog, Stamping Ground.

Here's my desk.

Not much happening today. I've been playing around with some dies and die cuts. I practice with the cheap orange paper so I won't ruin the good stuff. You can see some Spellbinders dies, a paper pyramid, my MS score board, and a paper mache  box I will be working on soon.

There are some more Heartfelt Creations products, my scissors and more ink pads. A few weeks ago, my scissors were shown for the first time and there were some questions. The multi-color scissors were a gift from Fiskars when I join the Fiskars group. It has my member number engraved on the blade. That's it for me.

Thanks for stopping by.
Have a Blessed Day
Hugs,
Reigna

Love your creative desk this week, looks like you have numerous things on the go with pyramids and stuff!

I had to laugh at your score pad. When I first heard about those, I laughed and shook my head. Who would ever want one? After all, any dummy can score and fold paper! Then my friend Kathy bought one and got it out one time when I visited. It was immediate love at first score. Now I want one, too (grin).

Happy WOYWW from # 2.

Hello Regina!

I do the same thing play with the cheap and craft with the good stuff. Some days it simply is hard to part with the good stuff for projects but I am learning to let go this year.

I like seeing all the spellbinders. Makes me want to play.

Have a blessed day!

Hi Regina! It looks like you are going to be a busy girl with all those dies! I am just learning how to use dies in the Cuttlebug that I have just received, and I think that little machine will get quite a work out from me lol!. Looking forward to seeing what you are making from all of this :-). Happy WOYWW.

I use Fiskars scissors too, but mine are the ones you do not need to put your fingers into the holes - I can't just recall what they are called, but they are supposed to be for people with dexterity problems. I had to use an ordinary pair at the workshop and they felt quite alien. Thank you for your visit today. Have a good week playing with those great dies. xx Maggie #12

What a good idea to practise on some cheap paper first with die cuts! I am learning to do this and to position and play around before committing to a final design and sticking it down! Love your busy work desk! Julie Ann #42

I use old card that I don't like the colour of to make up samples. It's better than wasting it! Did you make the triangle boxes with the dies? If so, how did you stick them together? Hugs. Pam#36

Orange is good color in autumn.
It is interesting to see, what's coming.

I like your flourish dies in the box, they look fun.
All in favour of practising with things, but often end up using practice pieces on cards so no bright orange for me, I use brown envelopes, they can often be incorporated in cards, especially for men.
Have a great day

I think is a very sensible idea to work with the cheap orange paper rather than the good stuff first to see how it goes

What a great idea to start with some practise paper, we must try that instead of constantly ruining the good stash.

Thanks for visiting the bears already today

Love the dies : ). I have a Cricut, but I still love dies (Sizzix Tim Holtz and Papertrey Ink especially). I love working things out with 2nd best papers, so much less pressure than using best papers when learning. #17
