WOYWW #246

Hello All,

It's time for What's On Your Work desk? Wednesday. If you would like to know what this is all about, head over to Julia's blog (Stamping Ground).

I'm sorry I wasn't able to make to everyone blog who left me a comment (last week). Our power went out 8am Wednesday, and did come back on until Thursday evening. We spent Wednesday night camped out in the family room huddled around the fireplace. We ran out of firewood Thursday, and my hubby couldn't find any, so we spent that night in a hotel.

Here's whats happening on my desk.
I'm working on a couple of projects. Making rose buds and working on the box. I used the distress inks to colors the flowers.

Here's the other side of my desk. There's my flower making tools, stamps and paper from this month's design team kit.

I made a little progress with the flowers.

Here's the finished flowers and some leaves.

Thanks for stopping by
Have A Blessed Day
Hugs,
Regina

Wow, I had no idea it took so long and so many tools to make those lovely flowers. Really lovely.

Congrats on the top spot this week. I was visiting another WOYWWer and forgot to check the time. Happy WOYWW from # 3.

Those flowers look fantastic - I think I may get over my ink phobia and actually open all the wee bottles I've accumulated!

Just had to call back to thank you for the encouragement the two Bible texts at the top of your blog have been to me tonight - discouragements creep in and make you feel like giving up - so I'll go back to bed now and try to sleep, leaving my problems in the hand of the Lord.

Oh some fun things. I just unwrapped the flower kit, and you have adorable petals and flowers! Love the colors.
Hasn't this winter been something..yours no doubt has melted and improved. Was 40 here today, but 9 yesterday and snow storm on the way and falling temps.
Your blog backgrounds is pretty, I tried to redo mine and can't get rid of the previous one. It pops up then the new one comes up. Spent so much time trying to change it I had to quit and will refresh it another day.

Regina, your little flowers are so pretty.

No power, no wood, yep! that calls for a stay in a hotel for sure.

Funny how colour combos seem to crop up all multiple places all at once. I've been using violet and lime (and violet and lemon) a lot recently and can't tell if I am just keying in on it when I see it cause I'm using it a lot or if I'm using it a lot cause I see it everywhere LOL! But loving the look of the flowers in any case.

An early Happy WOYWW!

Your flowers are looking great Regina...I love working with distress inks when making flowers - the uneven drying gives them character. Hope you're all back to being snug and warm - pretty bad when the power goes out for a day and a half. Cheers RobynO#51

Hi Regina,

So glad you finally got power back! Georgia certainly has been hit with some strange weather. My aunt lives in Atlanta and she was home during the first storm that had so many people stranded. I imagine sleeping by the fire was nice and cozy.

Your flowers are amazing - truly beautiful. I like your tool set. I imagine you don't have a problem with anyone "borrowing" them! tee hee.

Congrats at being Number One this week. Me, well, I'm 90!

Happy WOYWW

Thanks for your visit and your nice comment. I'm so glad you like the card I made for my hubby. He was delighted with it. Little Beatrice does look cute in her dress, doesn't she! We have just had some great news that the lump was not malignant, and she's going to be fine.

Happy WOYWW,
