Heartfelt Creations Italiana Riviera Collection and Sad News

Hello Everyone,

Here's this week's Heartfelt Creations design team posting featuring the Italiana Rivera Collections.

This will be my last Heartfelt Creations design team posting. After 2 1/2 years with this wonderful company, on this amazing design team, I've decided to step down.

Card size is 6 x 6. Start with a blank card base, cut a 6 x 6 piece of Pinefeather cardstock, and glue to card base. Cut a 5 7/8 x 5 7/8 piece of Italiana Riviera paper, sponge edges with Antique Linen distress ink, and glue paper to card base. Cut a 5 1/8 x  5 1/8 piece of Pinefeather cardstock, glue to card base, cut a 5 x 5 card front from Italiana Riviera paper, ink edges with Antique Linen distress ink, and glue to card base. Cut a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 piece of white cardstock, stamp Italiana Script image onto cardstock with Desert Sand ink, sponge over entire image with Antique Linen distress ink, and glue image onto card. Stamp Italiana Grapevine images onto white cardstock using Tuxedo Black ink, color images with Spectrum Noir markers, die cut grape and vine images with Italiana Grapevines die, glue vines to card. Die cut Pinefeather cardstock using Cut Mat Create 2A large square die, stamp Italiana Script grape image, color image with Spectrum Noir markers, die cut image with Cut Mate Create 2B large square die,  glue die cut together, adhere die cut grapes to image, and adhere to card with foam dots.

Here's this weeks Heartfelt Creations design team posting featuring the Italiana Riviera Collection.

Card size is 5 x 7. Start with a blank card base, cut a 5 x 7 piece of Winter Wisteria cardstock, and glue cardstock to card base. Cut a 4 7/8 x 6 7/8 piece of Italiana Riviera paper, ink edges with Dusty Concord, and glue to card base. Die cut (2) borders from white cardstock using Italiana Grape Cluster border die, and glue die cuts to card. Cut a 2 3/4 x 6 7/8 piece of Winter Wisteria cardstock, ink edges with Dusty Concord ink, and glue cardstock to card. Stamp Italiana Grape Borders image onto white cardstock with Tuxedo Black ink, color image with Spectrum Noir and Copic markers, trim image to 2 5/8 x 6 7/8, ink edges with Dusty Concord distress ink, add Glossy Accents to grapes (let dry), and glue image to card. Christmas Ornaments

Hello Everyone,

I  finally finished them.

I can say finally, because I have been working on them off  and on , more off than on, for about a month. I made 12 of these little ornaments to send to family members with cards.

Here's a better view of the inside of the ornament. I love this tiny silhouette Nativity Scene. The ornament and Nativity Scene are by Papertrey Ink. The poinsettia is Heartfelt Creation, of course. The gold string and paper I purchased from here.

I stamped a sentiment in, white ink, on the sides of the ornament (sorry it does show that well). It say "Noel Born is the King of Israel".

A Halloween Birthday

Hello All,

Here's a birthday card that I made for my BIL. I'm sure you can guess what day his birthdate, Halloween. This year I decided to make a Halloween theme card, and this is my first Halloween card ever. I think it turned out okay.

I sponged the background with distress ink. I used Papertrey Ink stamps, dies, and paper to make the Halloween scene and for the sentiment.

Start with a blank card base, trim card top to 3 5/8, cut a 6 x 3 1/2 piece of lavender cardstock, glue to card top, cut a 5 7/8 x 3 3/8 piece of Italiana Riviera paper, ink edges with Dusty Concord ink, and glue to card top. Cut a 6 x 4 7/8 piece of lavender cardstock, die cut edge using Italiana Grape Cluster border die, and glue to the inside flap of card. Cut a 6 4 7/8 piece of lavender cardstock, ink edges with Dusty Concord distress ink, and glue to the inside of card. Cut a 5 7/8 x 3 piece of Italiana Riviera paper, ink edges with Dusty Concord distress ink, and glue to the inside of card. Stamp Italiana Grape image onto white cardstock using Tuxedo Black ink, color image with Spectrum Noir and Copic Markers, trim image to 3 1/8 x4 5/8, distress edges, ink edges with Dusty Concord distress ink, and glue to card. Stamp (2) Italiana Grape Cluster vines and (2) grapes onto watercolor paper using Tuxedo black ink, heat set images, die cut images using Italiana Grape Cluster dies, color images with Spectrum Aqua makers, and glue die cuts to card. Stamp Italiana Grape Cluster wine glass, and wine bottle onto white cardstock using Tuxedo Black ink, color images with Spectrum Noir and Copic markers, die cut images using Italiana Grape Cluster dies, and adhere die cuts to card with foam dots.

Here's this week's Heartfelt Creations design team posting featuring the Italiana Riviera Collections.

Card Size is 6 x 6. Start with a blank card base, cut a 6 x 6 piece of lavender cardstock, glue cardstock to card base, cut a 6 x 6 card front from Italiana Riviera paper, trim card front to 5 7/8 x 5 7/8, ink edges of card front with Dusty Concord distress ink, and glue card front to card base. Stamp Riviera Gateway image onto watercolor paper using Tuxedo Black ink, heat set ink, color image with Spectrum Aqua makers, trim image to 4 ½ x 4 ½, and glue image to card. Die cut a frame from lavender paper  and chipboard using 6 x 6 Matting Basics A #5 die and 6 x 6 Matting Basics B #5 die (tape dies together), glue die cuts together, ink edges of die cuts with Dusty Concord ink, and adhere frame to card using  foam dots. Stamp Riviera Gateway sentiment onto watercolor paper using Tuxedo Black ink, cut out sentiment, distress edges, ink edges with Dusty Concord distress ink, and glue sentiment to frame. Stamp (1) Italiana Grape Cluster vine and several grapes onto watercolor paper using Tuxedo black ink, heat set images, die cut images using Italiana Grape Cluster dies, color images with Spectrum Aqua makers, and glue die cuts to frame.

Cut a (2) 3/4 x 9 pieces of Italian Riviera paper, and ink edges with Dusty Concord distress ink, and glue handle to basket. Glue ribbon to basket.  Die cut (2) vine borders from white cardstock using Italiana Grape Cluster border die, and glue borders to basket. Hello Everyone,

It's time to slow down the daily pace, take a deep breath and embrace life with the new Heartfelt Creations Italiana Riviera Collection.  We invite you to stroll down the Italian coastline taking in the spectacular seaside views, open markets, and amazing architecture while allowing yourself to relax and get lost in an easy going way of life.  Feel the gentle breeze, breathe in the aromas of salty mist and mouthwatering eats as you pass by a harbour lined with delightful cafes and quaint little shops calling out to you to pause for a visit. Step through towering stone gates to meander through perfectly manicured vineyards boasting rows and rows of coiling vines filled with dense foliage and  plump clusters of exquisitely purple hued grapes.  Then as the sun sets, continue to take in the old world charm and beauty of the area as you relax in your villa, enjoying a glass of fine wine aged to perfection while jotting down all of the days wonderful adventures on an old fashioned postcard, pausing occasionally only to peer out the old stone window that reveals the most surreal view of lush gardens, stately mountains, beautiful flowers and that perfectly manicured vineyard.  At Heartfelt Creations we dismiss the misconceived notion that you are required to leave your craft room to experience the finer things in life...so come along with us as we invite you to explore the charm and elegance of the Italiana Riviera Collection!

Card size is 6 x 6 1/4. Cut a 6 1/4 x 11, and 12 x 6 1/4 piece of purple cardstock, score each piece a 6 inches, and fold. Tape Italiana Grape Cluster solid vine edge die on the edge of the 6 x 12 piece, die cut card stock, tape the die to the 6 x 11 piece (the 5 inch section), die cut cardstock, and glue both sections together. Cut a 5 3/4 x 6 and a 4 3/4 x 6 piece of light green cardstock, tape Italiana Grape Cluster detail vine edge die on the edge, die cut edge, and glue die cut to card. Cut a 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 piece of purple cardstock, glue cardstock to front of card, cut a 3 7/8 x5 1/8 card front from Italiana Riviera paper, ink edges with Dusty Concord distress ink, and glue card front to card. Stamp Italiana Riviera Cluster image onto white cardstock using Tuxedo Black ink, trim image to 3 x3 1/2, sponge over entire image with Antique Linen, and Old Paper distress ink, and glue to the front of card. Cut a 6 x 5 3/4 piece of light green cardstock, glue to the inside of the card, cut a 6 x 6 card front from Italiana Riviera paper, trim card front to 5 7/8 x 5 5/8, ink edges with Dusty Concord distress ink, stamp Italiana Riviera Cluster sentiment onto card front using Tuxedo Black ink, and glue card front onto inside of the card. Stamp (2) Italiana Grape Borders images onto white cardstock using Tuxedo Black ink, color borders with Spectrum Noir marker, trim borders 7/8 x 4 1/4, sponger over border with Antique Linen distress ink, and glue borders to card. Stamp several Italiana Grape Cluster vines, wine glasses, and wine bottles onto white cardstock using Tuxedo Black ink, color images with Spectrum Noir markers, sponge over images with Antique Lines distress ink, die cut images using Italiana Grape Cluster dies, and glue die cuts to card.

Heartfelt Creations Memories for a Lifetime

Hello Everyone,

Here's this week Heartfelt Creations design team posting featuring the Enchanted Mums Collection.

Card size is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2. Start with a blank card base, cut a 6 x 6 card front from Enchanted Mum paper, trim card front to 5 1/2 x 5 1/2, add glitter to edges of card front, and glue card front to card base. Die cut New Leaf cardstock using Cut Mat Create large square die, add glitter around edges of die cut, and glue die cut to card. Stamp Enchanted Mum Clusters image on to white cardstock using Tuxedo Black ink, die cut image using Cut Mat Create 2A die, color image with Spectrum Noir makers, add glitter to the edges, add Glossy Accents to dragon fly, let dry, and glue die cut to center of card. Stamp (2) Enchanted Mum flower images onto white cardstock using Rose Bud ink, die cut flowers using Enchanted Mum die, color (2) medium and (2) small flowers, with Spectrum Noir markers, shape flowers, glue flowers together, add glitter to tip of flower, glue pearl to center of flower, and glue flower to card. Color (1) large dragonfly with Spectrum Noir markers, add Glossy Accents to wings, add jewels stickers to dragonfly and card, and glue dragon fly to card.

It Wednesday, and that means it's time for another What's on Your Work desk? Wednesday. If you would like to know what this is all about, head on over to Julia's blog (Stamping Ground) for more information.

Here's my desk.

I'm still working on my little Nativity Scenes. I have 18 of the little barns done. Now I just have to glue the animals and trees to the base, and glue together the ornaments. I'm also working on plans for a treat holder with the Nativity Scene on top.

Here's a better picture of the treat holder. It's a mason jar, I may wrap it with some Christmas cardstock and add a sentiment. We'll see.
