WOYWW #216

Hi All,

It's time for What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday. If you like to see what this is all about, head over to Julie's blog The Stamping Ground. Here's my desk.

I haven't done much crafting, but I have been working on some heat embossing on the bottom of the pictures, and sketching out some card designs.

Here's some trim I purchased from Hobby Lobby Monday. I've been trying out dying it, just to see how the colors turns out.

I finally ordered a photo tent set. I really need to pay more attention to the measurements of the items I order. As you can see, this is pretty big. I'm just lucky I have a large desk.

Thanks for stopping by.
Have a Blessed Day
Hugs,
Regina

Oooooooh !!! That's a really cool photo tent :-D I was looking at one that was on special offer but the postage from US to Greece was twice the price of the equipment !!! Sadly I didn't get one :-(

Lovely goodies on your desk this week :-)

That's pretty trim! I made my own photo cube using PVC pipe and a sheet plus 2 lights. Works pretty good. Thanks for visiting and happy WOYWW!

Hi Regina
your desk is looking good this week some lovely crafting stash out on show.
Your photo tent thing would be fantastic for my daughter as she does loads of photographing, was it expensive and are you able to tell me where you managed to get it from
Sending hugs for WOYWW and hope you enjoy the rest of your week

Thanks for your visit today, Regina. You say you have not done much crafting crafting and then list so much. On the other hand, I did manage two cards, both done in a furious rush and from a ready prepared kit. I do still have a lot of work that I need to get done, all before the winter, all things to make the house secure and easier and more comfortable to live in. Have a good week and I hope your ribbons turn out well. xx Maggie #40

Morning Regina....please tell me how your photo tent works.....if you shoot L.O s can you take shots from the top....I guess one would have to topple it over......enjoy!

Julia Dunnit said...

Ah Regina - see it want it buy it..and then measure it. (A direct quote from my husband who thinks it's hilarious the number of times I've opened a box and exclaimed at the wrong size! Still, I don't doubt that it will be really useful and probably in a couple of months, it won't even seem big enough!

That photo tent looks like a useful addition, but, yes, it is good your desk is large! I'm hopeless when it comes to imagining sizes of what I order. Thanks for reminding me to bear this in mind! Happy WOYWW! Julie Ann #17 x

Great looking desk with all the thin dies out. I have thought about ordering a tent but decided the white board I am using will just have to work a while longer. Let me know what you think about it! Have a great week. Thanks for sharing. Vickie #71

I haven't seen one of these photo tents before so I would be interested in hearing how it works for you. Your new trims look great, I especially love the ruffled one and I love the look of the pretty colors you have dyed it. Happy WOYWW! Danie #74

I love the pictures of your space today. I also ordered that huge tent and then went back later and ordered the smaller one. Both have their good points. So I use one for awhile and then go back to the other!

But how nice you have the space on your desk for it! :) Hope it helps with the photography, not that yours is bad or anything...it's just I know how I don't like mine and keep thinking I need one of those things...but I made myself one awhile back, that comes apart for storage, and then I'm too lazy to put it together for picture taking! Ha! Outsmarted myself there! lol :) Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment on my desk already, you are such a dear! Hope you enjoy the rest of WOYWW! Deeyll #77 :)

Love the photo tent, I made my own photo box when I was in Canada.. but had to destroy it when we packed up to move. I'd say its always better to have one on the larger side than one that ended up too small!! Annette #17

Thanks for coming by to see me, Regina, even though I'm not hopping this week! Good luck with the photo tent! It is good that you had all that room for it.

I love that you keep a notebook of your hand-drawn sketches!! Have a great week! I'm still working for the next two weeks, too, but hopefully I'll be able to be in next week's WOYWW.

Hi there. You are lucky to have room for the tent. My nook is far too small.

Sorry for the late visit

Looks like the size tent that I have. My lights on floor models tho. Do love the little desk top camera stand! I can see I may need to move my floor tripod closer to the tent. I really should just take a photog class. :) Have a wonderful weekend!
