Once Upon A.......Sketch, Sketch Challenge

Hello Everyone,

Well, as I've mentioned a few post ago, I needed to catch up on my scrapbooking. I've managed to get the 4 graduation scrapbooks for my family completed and delivered, but I've only done 1 graduation layout for my scrapbook. I also mentioned, I wanted to be a little more daring with my layout, not my usual plain and simple. With the help of Once Upon A..........Sketch's sketch, I  now have 1 more page completed, and I jazzed this page up a little. Before I get into the details, here's the wonderful sketch I used.

Here's my take on the sketch.

I used my Heartfelt Creations stamps and dies to create the flowers and butterfly (the butterfly was stamped on vellum).  They were both stamped  with VersaMark ink, heat embossed with black embossing power, and colored with Copic markers.

The corner die is also by Heartfelt Creations. I sponged the doily and background with some black ink, and lightly spritz it with some Glimmer Mist, to tone down the white color. I punched the DP with a Martha Stewart punch, and cut out "HAMILTONS" with my cricut and cartridge. The journaling was printed using my laptop and printer, mounted on black cardstock and spritzed with Glimmer Mist. I really liked the way this layout turned out, I may just enter into the Once Upon A......Sketch July Challenge.

Well, that's it for me for now. I will blog with you later. Have a  most fabulous day.

Hugs,
Regina
